Henry Cavill is going to star in a new Netflix drama called The Witcher. The eight-episode series is based on the bestselling fantasy book by author Andrzej Sapkowski, and is described as an epic tale of fate and family, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Cavill will be playing Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter who is trying to find his place in the world where people often turn out to be more wicked than the beasts he’s tracking. But then, destiny sends him towards a powerful sorceress and a young princess with a dangerous secret. Together, the three must figure out how to navigate the increasingly volatile world together.
