The Patriots head to Heinz Field in Pittsburgh this weekend, as the AFC’s two best teams face-off. Robert Mays at The Ringer looked at the Pats and Steelers head-to-head in anticipation of the game that could decide home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Thanks to injuries in the Pittsburgh linebacking crew and secondary, Patriots running backs James White and Rex Burkhead, both competent pass catchers, are expected to have big days. The third of the Patriots’ running back trio, Dion White, will likely have success running the ball against a struggling Steelers defense. The Pittsburgh offense, however, has been on fire lately, and a star turn for Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell may be in the cards. Mays predicts an offensive shootout in a game NFL fans have had their eyes on for weeks.
