What We Learned From the NFL’s Divisional Playoff Weekend

Patriots, Jaguars, Eagles and Vikings make it to the conference championship games.

Among the teams that made it to the AFC and NFC championship games, the New England Patriots have five Super Bowl wins while the Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars and Minnesota Vikings have none, writes USA Today‘s Nate Davis.

The Vikings will attempt to be the first team in NFL history to play a Super Bowl on its home field. Minnesota is already the first team to go to a conference championship game during the same season its stadium hosts a Super Bowl.

The weekend was full of surprises. For example, the Eagles and Jaguars could now possibly meet in the Super Bowl a year after both finished last in their divisions. The much-maligned Jacksonville quarter Blake Bortles is currently has a 2-0 playoff record. Meanwhile, Patriots QB Tom Brady has 26 playoff wins after this weekend’s victory.
