A former NFL player who is facing rape, kidnapping, indecent exposure, and burglary charges has been accused of lewd contact with a 77-year-old woman while free on house arrest in California.
Kellen Winslow II, who played tight end in the league for 10 years, is accused of a pair of lewd actions toward the same woman at a Carlsbad gym last month.
According to deputy district attorney Dan Owens, Winslow, 35, touched himself in front of the victim on one occasion and then her arm and foot in a hot tub during a separate incident nine days later.
Following the new accusations, Winslow was charged with two counts of lewd conduct, and one count each of battery of an elder and willful cruelty to an elder.
Though the charges are misdemeanors, he was ordered held without bail. At the time of the alleged incidents at the gym, Winslow was free on about $2 million bail while awaiting trial for earlier charges.
According to charging documents against Winslow related to the previous charges, he allegedly kidnapped and raped a 54-year-old woman on March 13 and then a 59-year-old woman on May 13 of last year.
He has pleaded not guilty to multiple counts of kidnapping, rape and other charges related to those accusations.
If convicted, Winslow could face a maximum sentence of life in prison.Read the full story at The San Diego Union-Tribune
