Aaron Rodgers and Packers Reportedly Agree on 4-Year Extension Worth More Than $100 Million

The terms of the deal will pay Rodgers an unreal $80 million by March.

According to a number of reports, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have agreed to a contract extension that should keep him in Green Bay until he hits age 40 and beyond.

Due to make $19.8 million in salary this season and $20 million the next, 34-year-old Rodgers has agreed to a four-year extension that runs through 2023.

Terms of the deal are still leaking out, but it sounds as if the deal is for around $134 million and it contains more than $100 million in guaranteed cash.

The deal also calls for Rodgers to receive $80 million of that guaranteed money by March.

If the terms are correct, Rodgers is now the league’s highest-paid player at $33.5 million per year on average, topping the $30 million-per-year deal Matt Ryan received from the Falcons.
