As Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman shatters box office records, some Internet users with extra time on their hands uploaded pieces of Joss Whedon’s 2007 rejected script for the film—and the reviews are brutal, according to Cosmopolitan. The magazine highlights, among others, comments from Twitter user Rave Sashayed, who picked apart the script page by page.
In a long thread, Sashayed also examined some of the absurd clichés Whedon employed in his turned-down version of the female super hero.

“If Wonder Woman taught us anything it’s that a woman should be writing and directing Batgirl, not Joss Whedon,” wrote another.
