Steve Mnuchin’s $33 Million New York City Apartment Is Up For Sale

The duplex is in the same building where Jacqueline Bouvier's family lived in the 1930s.

For six years of the 1930s, Jacqueline Bouvier’s family lived in the iconic 740 Park Avenue building in New York City’s Upper East Side, and you can now live there too. A duplex unit in the building has just been listed for $33 million. And who is the owner of this duplex? Reportedly, none other than Steven Mnuchin, the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury.

The space has been through multiple renovations, but according to Town & Country, all work well with its traditional pre-war style. It has marble flooring, wood-burning fireplaces, a spacious master suite and an eye-catching gallery featuring 11-foot ceilings. The curved staircase that leads upstairs still hosts the original banister.

The 800-square-foot living room has four large windows, and there are three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms in addition to the roomy master suite. Want state-of-the art appliances, like two Sub-Zero refrigerators, two Miele dishwashers, a large Viking stove and a wine refrigerator? Mnuchin’s place comes with those, too.
