‘SNL’ Christmas Carol Parody Returns Baldwin as Trump

'Saturday Night Live' makes quick work lampooning Michael Flynn news.

Saturday Night Live was busy raising the Dickens last night with a Christmas Carol parody cold open featuring the return of Alec Baldwin cartoonish impression of President Trump. In the six-minute sketch, Trump is visited by a shackled Michael Flynn (Mikey Day), who warns his former boss about the visit of three “ghosts” from his past — which turn out to be Billy Bush (Alex Moffat), Vladimir Putin (Beck Bennett) and Hillary Clinton (Kate McKinnon). It was a quick turnaround for the writers considering the news that Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI as part of the Mueller probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election broke so late in the week.
