New Trailer For Netflix’s Cyberpunk Thriller ‘Altered Carbon’ is Out

It is all about a stranger in a strange time.

In the new trailer for Netflix’s cyberpunk thriller, Altered Carbon, the protagonist wakes up 200 years into the future to help solve the murder of a wealthy god. The story follows Takeshi Kovacs (Will Yun Lee), who is a Japanese-American man whose consciousness is put into the body of a white man (Joel Kinnaman) hundreds of years after his supposed death. But in Altered Carbon, people don’t actually die. Everyone has been digitized so that they can be easily put into new bodies. Kovacs has been commissioned by Laurens Bancroft (James Purefoy), a wealthy person who has lived for hundreds of years, to solve his own murder. The show is based on the book of the same title by Richard K. Morgan, and involves a lot of action, murder, and sexy interactions. The show comes out Feb. 2, and you can check out the trailer below.
