Miss Nebraska Sarah Rose Summers Takes Miss USA Crown

Summers, 23, beat out Miss North Carolina to take home the coveted crown.

Sarah Rose Summers from Nebraska took home the Miss USA crown Monday night, beating out first runner-up Miss North Carolina Caelynn Miller-Keyes and second runner-up, Miss Nevada Carolina Urrea.

Summers, 23, told viewers during one of the Q&A rounds that she’s a child life specialist and pilates instructor who works in hospitals as a liaison between families and their doctors. Time reports that she was educated at Texas Christian University where she graduated with two degrees and told viewers she would encourage people to “speak your voice” as Miss USA. Take a look at Summers’ recent Instagram posts, and her crowning moment, below.
