Some of Hollywood’s most well-know faces have teamed up with eBay to help out Home for Our Troops, a nonprofit that provides houses for America’s veterans.
Donations made by the stars —of both their possessions and their time — will be auctioned off with all proceeds going towards the charity. George Clooney, for example, has offered up his motorcycle, a 2017 Dresser Touring Ultra Limited FLHTK Harley Davidson. Amal Clooney, his wife, has reportedly expressed concern about the Oscar-winner’s safety on two wheels. Bids will start at $25,000, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Joining the actor will be fellow stars like Paul Rudd, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Jake Gyllenhaal, musician Kenny Chesney, NBA champ Stephen Curry, and comedian Ellen DeGeneres.
Rudd plans on taking his highest bidder and a guest to lunch, Wilson will play his most generous fan in a tennis match and Stiller will treat one lucky Knicks fan to courtside seats at a home game at Madison Square Garden.
The event is pegged, fittingly, to Veteran’s Day and will be open until Nov. 15 on eBay’s designated page for the auction.
