New footage offers the public unfettered access for the first time ever to view North Korea from a brand new vantage point: The air.
For nearly seven minutes, flyover footage captured by Singaporean photographer Aram Pan in May 2016, but just recently uploaded, shows the colorful high rise buildings of the country’s capital, Pyongyang. It also showcases sweeping green pastures. Notably, the city appears startlingly empty, despite a reported population of 2.86 million in Pyongyang alone.
Take a look at the remarkable footage above.
