Kendall Jenner and Emily Ratajkowski May Face Subpoenas Over Fyre Festival

Bella Hadid and Hailey Baldwin could also be served by the court.

Supermodels Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, Bella Hadid, Hailey Baldwin, and others could be subpoenaed over their involvement with the failed Fyre Festival, acording to Maxim.

Subpoenas submitted by Gregory Messer, a trustee who is overseeing the bankruptcy of Fyre Festival, were apparently signed off on by a New York bankruptcy judge.

Billy McFarland, the festival’s founder, reportedly leached $26 million from investors. Now the courts want to know where $5.3 million of those funds ended up.

That’s where the supermodels come into play.

Each social influencer was paid an undisclosed amount of money to post on their social media accounts about the festival. Jenner, who made a post about the concert lineup with no indication that she was being paid to do so, removed her posts from social media shortly after the festival clearly failed.

If the models are put on the stand, they might have to reveal how much, when, and how they were paid by the Fyre Festival and by McFarland, who has plead guilty to multiple charges of fraud.

Soulja Boy and Waka Flocka Flame are said to also be receiving subpoenas, according to Billboard.
