The women of The View grilled White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her father, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, about the president’s ongoing contentious relationship with journalists and the media at large.

“Is the media not supposed to report the fact that 95 percent of what he says is a lie?,” Joy Behar asked, citing a Politifact report. (The report actually notes that 95 out of 158 claims made by President Trump were untrue, making 78 percent false, not 95.)

Sanders was quick to reply. “The problem with that, Joy, is that you are doing exactly what we are talking about and pushing a false narrative,” she said. Behar reiterated her claim that President Trump tells the truth five percent of the time.

“I feel for you,” Behar said. “I feel sorry for you that you have to go out and defend these lies every day.”
