Uber’s search for a new CEO is reportedly being manipulated by the company’s founder and former leader, Travis Kalanick. The list of potential replacements is all men, following the exit of Hewlett Packard CEO Meg Whitman.

According to Recode, Kalanick has been telling people he’s “Steve Jobs-ing it,” a blatant reference to the late Apple CEO’s return to the helm after being ousted by the board. The former Uber CEO resigned in June amid pressure from investors, following a secession of scandals that primarily involved the company’ male-dominated workplace culture.

Uber has narrowed down the list for its new CEO to four candidates, Recode reports. Outgoing General Electric CEO Jeff Immelt is on the shortlist, but reportedly not the company’s first choice.

Whitman, an Uber investor and periodic advisor, was interested in the position, but didn’t like the added pressure of media speculation after such news was leaked to the press, according to Recode.

Meanwhile, the former CEO has been reluctant to give up his management of the company. Kalanick, who’s still a board member, is reportedly injecting himself into Uber’s daily operations still.
