This Robot Has a 3-D Animated Face

Furhat Robotics has produced a robot—”Furhat”—with a 3-D animated face that not only talks, but can also show a range of expressions. This all comes about from a projector mounted in the robot’s neck, whose picture is then reflected on a mirror in the back of its head. Finally, that projection “fits” on the contours of a mask set on the robot’s face. Did we mention that it talks, too? Watch a video featuring Furhat below.
