Dr. Sergi Santos is one of the doctors behind the lifelike sex robot named “Samantha.” He claims that having “regular orgasms” with Samantha has helped “spice up his marriage,” reports The Mirror

“Samantha” has different modes — family, romantic, and sexy — and also has the ability to create emotional closeness. The doll lives with Santos and his wife, Maritsa Kissamitaki, as well as other silicone sex dolls. “Samantha” is interactive and reacts to different parts of her body being touched.

According to The Mirror, having relations with the dolls allows him to really enjoy have sex with his wife. Santos founded Synthea Amatus in 2015 and wants to start selling robots in coming weeks, starting at $2,000, reports The Mirror. He also wants to start developing male robots.

Santos sees the technology as a benefit to society. He thinks they can help prevent sexually transmitted diseases and progress AI technology, The Mirror reports.
