Will Cowboys Have Home-field Advantage for Game in LA?

The Rams are hoping Dallas fans don’t overrun the Coliseum for their playoff game.

Will fans of “America’s Team” take over the Golden State this Saturday when the Dallas Cowboys take on the Los Angeles Rams?

That’s a question both teams are eager to find the answer to because it means one of them will enjoy home-field advantage in their second-round playoff matchup.

As of now, it sounds like it will be a close call as a ticket sales expert – Vivid Seats digital content marketing manager Stephen Spiewak – said Cowboys fans may own as much as 40 percent of the tickets for the contest by game day, according to The Los Angeles Times.

Besides having fans across the country, one of the big reasons Dallas may have a presence on Sunday is the Cowboys have had training camp in Ventura County, north of Los Angeles, for 39 of the past 55 summers.

“We’ve got thousands of fans that are generational in Los Angeles,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on Dallas’ 105.3 FM The Fan. “We do feel very comfortable going to Los Angeles playing. That’s not to say the Rams are going to make it comfortable for us.”

Whoever ends up attending the game, it won’t be cheap. As of Thursday, the average price for a ticket for the game was $708, according to TicketIQ.com.

“We know the Rams are building a following out there quickly,” said Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones. “But they’re just getting going out there again, and hopefully that will pay off for us. We’ve been going out just north of L.A. for quite some time out in Oxnard. Hopefully some of those tickets will be floating around and end up in the hands of Cowboys fans.”
