The New York Yankees are not having the season they were hoping for, sitting 7.5 games back of the first-place Baltimore Orioles. But in a win Monday night against the O’s, Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman showed why the team signed him for over $11 million last February. The flamethrower tied his own mark for the fastest pitch ever recorded at 105.1 mph. Watch the clip of the pitch below.
