Tiger Woods is the Favorite to Win the Masters. No, Seriously

Oddsmakers have him ahead of Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth.

More than 20 years after he won the Masters for the first time in 1997, Tiger Woods is the favorite to take home the green jacket at Augusta National.

And yes, we’re serious.

The four-time Masters champ’s ascension to the top of the odds list happened on (throwback) Thursday as Woods was playing at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and looking like his old self.

The 42-year-old’s play at the tourney, combined with his strong showing at the Valspar Championship last weekend, was enough to get Vegas oddsmakers to vault him ahead of Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth.

Time to party like it’s 1999. Er, ‘97.
