Winners of four straight games and eight of their last 10, the Milwaukee Brewers now have the best record in the National League at 35-20 and third-best overall record in MLB.

That strong play has pushed the Brew Crew past last week’s surging NL team, the Atlanta Braves, in this week’s edition of RealClearLife‘s Ultimate Power Rankings.

Unfortunately for the rest of MLB, not much has changed at the top of our rankings, which combine ratings from ESPN, CBS Sports and USA Today to get a single definitive rank, as the AL’s New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros comprise the top three once again. However, there have been some slight shifts, so the trio don’t follow last week’s order.

To see where the Yanks, Sox and ‘Stros ended up—and if Milwaukee did enough to make it to fourth on the list—as well as which other clubs are contenders and which are pretenders, check out the full list and segmented tiers in our Ultimate Power Rankings.
