Winners of nine of their last 12 games (including a huge comeback victory that saw them rally to victory after being down five runs in the ninth inning), the Atlanta Braves are the hottest team in MLB with Memorial Day weekend just around the corner.

And, by rising a full five percentage points in our ranks, which combine ratings from ESPN, CBS Sports and USA Today to get a single definitive ranking, the Braves are also the hottest team in RealClearLife‘s Ultimate Power Rankings as well.

At 28-17 (.622), the Braves are the only National League team with a winning percentage above .600, which currently puts them in the same class as the top teams in the American League, New York, Boston and Houston.

Lurking just behind the Braves in the NL are the Brewers and Phillies, both of which made significant leaps in the power rankings this week as well, thanks to locking down wins in seven of their last 10 games.

Read on to see which of the other 30 teams rose and fell in our Ultimate Power Rankings, which are broken down into segmented tiers to make it even easier to see which clubs are contenders and which are pretenders at this point.
