Skier Falls Into a Massive Crevasse While His GoPro Keeps Recording

Watch as he survives an unexpected plunge 60 feet down.

Back in December, skier Jamie Mullner was out on the slopes, enjoying a good downhill run with his GoPro strapped on. Then, he hit an unexpected bump—actually more like a trapdoor—that threw him down into a massive crevasse (or a crack in a glacier), which he guesstimated to be about 60 feet down.

Thankfully, he had a radio on him and notified his skiing party that—in quite the understatement—he “needed quite a bit of help to get out.”
