LeBron James, Steve Kerr, and Dwane Casey have all spoken out in support of gun control in the aftermath of the Parkland shooting, and Sports Illustrated’s Rohan Nadkarni ponders how such NBA figures can turn their words into action. As Nadkarni argues, given the void of leadership in Washington, political advocacy from people like LeBron, Kerr, Casey, or Gregg Popovich should not only be admired, but encouraged forth.
