Packers Fire Coach After Ripping Aaron Rodgers and Team in Tweet

Associate head coach Winston Moss tweeted about needing to hold Rodgers accountable.

After criticizing the team on Twitter, Green Bay Packers fired associate head coach Winston Moss has been fired.

A longtime right-hand man to former Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy – who was fired unceremoniously on Sunday following an embarrassing loss to the Arizona Cardinals – Moss has been in Green Bay since the 2006 season.

Before he was let go, Moss tweeted about the need to have someone in charge who would hold quarterback Aaron Rodgers accountable. He also seemed to criticize the team for not finding that person.

Despite being let go, Moss didn’t seem to have any regrets.

To replace McCarthy, the Packers are reportedly looking into the prospect of hiring New England assistant Josh McDaniels.
