Boxing star Canelo Alvarez’s new deal with a sports streaming service is a real knockout.

The unified middleweight world champion has agreed to a five-year, 11-fight contract with DAZN which is worth a minimum of $365 million, making it the most lucrative deal in sports.

Alvarez’s new contract surpasses the 13-year, $325 million agreement that New York Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton inked when he was with the Miami Marlins in 2014.

Running through 2023, the new contract will commence with Alvarez moving up to super middleweight to fight Rocky Fielding on December 15 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

For boxing fans, the deal removes Alvarez from pay-per-view broadcasts in the U.S. and makes his fights exclusively available on DAZN for the monthly price of $9.99. The service also offers various other boxing and mixed martial arts events, as well as historical bouts, in its monthly package.

“This is only from my hard work,” Alvarez told ESPN after signing the deal. “The most important thing to me was being able to give the fans the opportunity to see me fight without having to pay the $70 or $80 for my fights on pay-per-view. That was the most important thing, more important than what I am making. It is very important for me to give the fans the biggest fights and the most important fights, and I promise you I will always do that.”

Alvarez (50-1-2, 34 KOs) joins unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua on DAZN.
