Last month, an apparent home invasion and robbery at an Atlanta-area home owned by LeSean McCoy landed his ex-girlfriend Delicia Cordon in the hospital with a number of injuries.

In an Instagram post following the incident, Cordon accused McCoy of having something to do with what happened, a charge he adamantly denied.

Since then, police have been investigating what exactly happened at the home, but no charges have been filed. For his part, McCoy has returned to regular football activities amid the controversy.

In a statement posted Friday on Instagram, believed to be her first since the incident occurred, Cordon thanked her supporters for “arguing in [her] defense with the most ignorant individuals ever.”

She also said she is still fighting for “justice to be served” in the case.
