Laura Ingraham to LeBron: ‘Shut Up and Dribble’

The NBA All-Star does not have anything good to say about President Trump

LeBron James has never been one to hide his feelings about President Trump. Last year, he called the president a “bum” on Twitter.

A new video released Thursday on his Uninterrupted website shows that he’s doubling down on these ideas.

When asked by Cari Champion about how he feels about being an athlete with a platform during these politically agitated times, James said, “The climate is hot. The number one job in America, the appointed person is someone who doesn’t understand the people. And really don’t give a f— about the people. When I was growing up, there was like three jobs that you looked [up to] for inspiration. It was the president of the United States, it was whoever was best in sports and it was the greatest musician.”

Meanwhile, Kevin Durant told Champion, “When we’re talking about leadership, and what’s going on in our country, it’s all about leadership. And I learned that from basketball. I learned a lot of life skills from playing basketball. You need to empower people, you need to encourage people. And that’s what builds a great team. And I feel like our team as a country is not ran by a great coach.”

But Fox News host Laura Ingraham took to Trump’s defense, saying James and Durant should “shut up and dribble” and should leave political comments to people who didn’t leave high school a year early.
