Kate Upton Rips MLB, Umpires for Questionable Call in Astros Game

The supermodel took to Twitter from the confines of her seat at Minute Maid Park.

With the Astros trailing the Red Sox by two runs in the bottom of the first inning, Jose Altuve hit a ball that wound up over the wall in right field, tying the game.

Not so fast.

Although Boston outfielder Mookie Betts did not come down with the ball, he was close to catching it and possibly would have had a fan not interfered with his glove. At least that’s how crew chief Joe West saw it, as he ruled Altuve out due to fan interference, wiping the runs off the board for the Astros.

That did not sit well with Astros fan Kate Upton and she took to Twitter to take MLB and West to task from her seat behind home plate at Minute Maid Park in Houston.

She also got some support from her husband Justin’s brother, Ben Verlander.

Some of the replies she got were less than gracious, which Upton handled quite succinctly.

Unfortunately for Upton, the call was upheld and the Red Sox went on to win 8-6. Boston leads Houston 3-1 in the best-of-seven series.
