After much speculation, pop singer Justin Timberlake confirmed on Sunday that he will indeed be returning to perform on the Super Bowl LII halftime stage.

“You’re doing the halftime show at the Super Bowl!?” Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon asks Timberlake in his short announcement video.

“I’m doing halftime!” Timberlake exclaims.

It’s been fourteen years since he last took the stage in a performance that ended in scandal after Timberlake ripped Janet Jackson’s top, accidentally exposing her breast to approximately 140 million viewers. It’s unclear if Jackson will join Timberlake onstage in January — she was blacklisted from multiple award shows and outlets following the wardrobe malfunction, and female performers were absent from the halftime show for years after the incident.
