Gronkowski - who previously appeared at WrestleMania - could be done in the NFL.

After previously saying Rob Gronkowski would be a “perfect fit” for the WWE, John Cena is once again trying to pin down the former All-Pro for a career as a professional wrestler.

It seems Gronkowski could be on his way out of the NFL as his numbers have been down this year and some have said that New England coach Bill Belichick thought the future Hall of Famer was a “shell of himself” before the season even started.

If this NFL season is indeed his last on the gridiron, Gronkowski – who previously appeared at WWE’s WrestleMania – could have a future in the ring, according to Cena.

“I think he’d be a great WWE Superstar. I really do,” Cena told ESPN. “I think he’s got this unbelievable energy and infectious electricity about him. I think if he wants to take off the pads and step in the arena, I think he’ll feel right at home.”

Cena should know at least a little about what makes Gronk ticks as he once portrayed him in an SNL skit and trained like a method actor for the part.

Just kidding.
