While speaking to ESPN about the prospect of his former team selecting Baker Mayfield at No. 3 overall, ex-New York Jet Joe Namath called Mayfield the “most outrageous” quarterback in his class.
“When I see his quick feet and I see him throwing every which way, I see the accuracy, I see the intensity, his hustle,” Namath said. “Hey, I tell you, I wouldn’t want to play against him. I didn’t want Alabama to play against him.”

“So take it with a major grain of salt that Mayfield is in the conversation. But don’t discount it: everyone is in the conversation at No. 1,” according to Will Brinson of CBS Sports. “There isn’t a slam dunk here. Some people think it should be Darnold, and some think it will be Darnold. The same can be said for Allen and Mayfield.”Read the full story at ESPN
