It Looks Like Nike Ripped Off a New Logo From the Naval Academy

The logo for a new line of soccer apparel is very similar to the Naval Academy coat of arms.

Earlier this week, Nike and LA-based sneaker boutique Undefeated released a logo for their new collaborative soccer apparel line that looks strikingly similar to the Naval Academy’s coat of arms.

Both logos feature a shield, columns topped with torches, scrolls with text, and a hand extending from the top with something in its grasp. The one major difference is the Naval Academy’s trademarked seal is from 1899 and Undefeated and Nike’s is from 2018.

Another piece of the puzzle is the Naval Academy’s main supplier of apparel is Under Armour, one of Nike’s top competitors.

Both sides are said to be studying the logo and none of the gear from the collaboration is available at this time.

Don’t be surprised if it never is.
