It was a rough day at the office on Sunday for Minnesota Vikings kicker Daniel Carlson.
A fifth-round draft pick, Carlson missed a field goal in overtime that would have given Minnesota a big win over the Green Bay Packers.
Then, when he was given a chance to redeem himself at the end of overtime and be a hero, he missed again.

As a result, the Vikings and their division rivals tied at 29 all.
While painful for Carlson, the missed kick was equally as painful for Vikings fans (and exhilarating for Packers fans).

The missed kick also dredged up ghosts of kickers past.

For his part, this is what Carlson had to say for himself.

And here’s what one sports talk caller had to say about him …
