Eight Days That Changed the Eagles

The team won, lost and suffered a major injury to their star player.

The Philadelphia Eagles had a rough eight days when they went west for their toughest two-game stretch of the season. They hit their first major speedbump of the season when they lost — only the second time this year — by 14 points to the Seattle Seahawks. And even though they ultimately emerged from the west in prime position for a Super Bowl run, they lost their franchise quarterback when Carson Wentz tore his ACL during the third quarter of their game against the Los Angeles Rams.
