As you can guess at this point, RealClearLife takes its fantasy football seriously.

One of the most heartbreaking storylines to come out of Week 1 was the wrist injury to Kansas City Chiefs running back David Johnson, who had gone in the first three picks of the first round in most fantasy drafts. (Johnson is out indefinitely, following surgery.) Owners were likely still feeling his absence in Week 2 rosters.

Per ESPN, when a reporter asked him in a locker room interview whether he cared about the giant-sized divot he left in many fantasy owners’ lineups, Johnson laughed, saying, “Fantasy is the last thing on my mind right now.”

In regards to his recovery, Johnson said, “There really is no timeline; I’m really just seeing how it goes.”

Johnson had a stellar 2016 campaign, logging 1,239 rushing yards in 16 games, with 16 touchdowns. He also had 879 yards in receptions with four TDs catches.
