On Thursday, a star-studded feature group including Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Justin Thomas will tee off together at the 2018 PGA Championship.
Out of those three, a panel of ESPN golf experts including Bob Harig, Ian O’Connor, Michael Collins, Kevin Van Valkenburg, Nick Pietruszkiewicz, and Matt Barrie predict two have a chance at winning it all.
Unfortunately for the tournament’s TV ratings, one of them isn’t Tiger.
The fourth major of the year -which has a massive 156-man field – has seen big names and no-names capture its top spot and this year will likely be no different.
Still, considering this year’s field has 110 of the top 112 golfers in the world, the winner is more than likely going to be someone you know rather than someone you don’t.
According to ESPN’s panel, Thomas, McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay, Jordan Spieth, and Justin Thomas all have a shot to win.
But, the golfer who was picked more than any other was 28-year-old Tony Finau.
Guess we’ll see starting tomorrow. Hopefully, Woods proves ’em wrong.Read the full story at ESPN
