Aaron Rodgers Used Lines From What Movie to Score a Date With Danica Patrick?

The Packers quarterback quoted from a 1994 film, but it's not one you would think.

When Aaron Rodgers was trying to score a date with Danica Patrick, he didn’t whisper sweet nothings into her ear.

Instead, he quoted movie lines. But they weren’t from Casablanca, Titanic or The Notebook. Nope, instead Green Bay’s franchise quarterback with something even more refined: Dumb and Dumber.

Speaking in North Dakota on Wednesday, Patrick said Rodgers came up to her at the ESPYs in 2012 spouting lines from the 1994 Jim Carey film.

“He was at the bar, puttin’ out the vibe — ‘Dumb and Dumber,’ you know?” Patrick said during a speech. “And, I remember he was doing movie lines! And, people that love movie lines, LOVE movie lines. So, I think we had a dialogue in movie lines, and I was like, ‘This guy is really funny!’”

The future Hall of Famer’s comedic chops help lay the foundation for a friendship that has since blossomed into a romance.

Patrick also shared what the couple did on their first date. Don’t expect photos to surface anytime soon.

“We were cooped up,” she said. “We were cooped up. We weren’t out in public.”
