Scientists have analyzed PornHub’s top 50 most-viewed videos, finding that male performers reach orgasm nearly four times as often as their female counterparts, Discover Magazine reports. The study gives a rare academic glimpse into the world of pornography, which the scientists note is the most explicit, widespread, and easily accessible depiction of orgasm. And the results show the industry is perpetuating “unrealistic beliefs and expectations in relation to female orgasm and male sexual performance.”
