Not every house has a World Heritage site in its backyard, but this one in Whitsundays, Australia, does.

Dubbed the “Mandalay House,” this Mediterranean-style mansion is the perfect Australian getaway, especially for those who travel with an entourage. The 28,500-square-foot home features six bedrooms, with ensuite bathrooms, and three additional baths. The spacious master bedroom boasts a walk-in dressing room and attached lounge; and the kitchen, a walk-in fridge, butler’s pantry, and attached casual dining area.

As far as amenities go, Mandalay House is packed with them. For starters, potential occupants can arrive by land (it has a five-car garage); sea (the property has a private marina with a boat shed and room for two jet skis); or air (it also has a helipad, and is just a 10-minute flight from the Hamilton Island airport). Once everyone’s settled in, meals can either be enjoyed on the home’s wraparound patio that has space for 14, or the wine cellar dining room, with seating for 12. Those that need to take care of business can do so in the mansion’s office, which come’s with space for a secretary (if so required). With work out of the way, the home offers ample recreational opportunities including a cinema, gym, and pool room.

Above all else, the home’s biggest selling point is its location, along the Great Barrier Reef. The Mandalay House is a short drive from the pristine Airlie Beach and nearby islands in the Coral Sea, views of which can be enjoyed from multiple points throughout the luxe home. Golfers can perfect their game at the nearby Hamilton Island Golf Club, Arch McArthur Golf Club, Whitsundays Country Golf Club, and the Proserpine Golf Club. For a night out, fine dining and shopping are a quick drive away.

Reportedly listed at $19 million, the home’s owner claims it would be double the price were the property located in Sydney. More information on the property can be found here, and more images of it can be viewed below.
