Caitlyn Jenner publicly called out President Trump on Wednesday after he announced that transgender people are no longer allowed to serve in “any capacity” in the U.S. military.

Jenner, who is an outspoken supporter of President Trump and the Republican partner, is a transgender activist who recently told “The View” that she’d been working with members of the Trump administration to “help them” on LGBTQ issues, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“I’m glad I’m in the position that I’m in, because I got a good in with the Republican Party,” Jenner said during her View appearance. “As we know, the Democrats do a much better job when it comes to LGBT issues. And I know that, I’m not stupid, but the Republicans need help and I’m there to help them.”

It’s unclear whether or not Jenner will continue to do so now that the president has taken such a distinct stance on an issue that affects the transgender community.

Jenner in the past told Diane Sawyer that she has “one deal-breaker” with the Republican party: “You mess with my community, you do the wrong thing with our community, you don’t give us equality and a fair shot, I’m coming after you.”
