Anthony Scaramucci’s wife filed for a divorce three weeks ago, according tom the New York Post, while she was nine months pregnant. The couple has been married for three years.

Deidre Scaramucci, 38, filed divorce papers on July 6 in Nassau County Supreme Court. On July 24, Deidre gave birth to the baby boy, named James, while Anthony, 53, was in West Virginia with President Trump for the Boy Scouts Jamboree. As of Friday evening, it was reported that Anthony had yet to meet his son, but an associate close to Anthony said he visited the baby late that night, the New York Post reports.

A source close to the situation told the Post: “When James was born, (Anthony) sent her a text saying, ‘Congratulations, I’ll pray for our child.’”

Arthur Schwartz, Scaramucci’s rep, told the Post that there is “absolutely zero truth” in the idea that another person was involved in the couple’s split. A source close to the situation said that “there’s been … a lot of lies,” and that the couple is not speaking now.

Schwartz says that couple separated five or six months ago. Both Anthony and Deidre were married when they met in 2007, when Deidre started working at Anthony’s Manhattan hedge fund, SkyBridge Capital. They have one other child together.

“The big shift began when Deidre went from being arm candy to [being a mother] and being unavailable for nights out [and hobnobbing],” the source said to the Post. “That’s when [Anthony’s] decision to just continue his life as it was and leave her behind really started to take hold.”

Anthony Scaramucci was named White House communications director on July 21, 2017 and recently made headlines with an explosive interview in the New Yorker.
