Stefan Forster spent most of his childhood outdoors. He found his passion for photography at the age of seventeen after he went on an 18-day solo hike through the southern Highlands of Iceland.

Forster later turned his passion into his profession, opening his own photography academy that offers workshops that leads his clients to the planet’s most stunning locations.

His new book, Chasing Light published by teNeues, embodies the photographer’s sense of adventure with his love to document nature’s beauty.

The photographs, captured in vivid color, were taken during his backcountry trips far from civilization, often through remote areas for weeks at a time.
