The holidays will never be the same. Christmastime staple, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, has lost its founder, producer, and co-songwriter, Paul O’Neill, according to Rolling Stone.

The initial announcement of the 61-year-old O’Neill’s passing was made on the band’s Facebook page.

According to Rolling Stone, O’Neill co-wrote one of the band’s best-known songs, “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” from its best-selling 1995 album Dead Winter Dead. The single has since gone gold and the album, triple platinum. (Take a closer look at a complete list of their top-selling albums/singles here.)

According to Blabbermouth, the band’s touring has raked in $625 million over a 20-year period.
