Spider-Man (Tom Holland) gets the full Millennial makeover in the latest Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer, donning a spiffy new techie suit that talks to him à la Knight Rider.
The costume may look largely the same as the one dreamed up by Steve Ditko more than 50 years ago, but Stark Tech has made some upgrades. Amenities include an A.I. interface calculating how many hundreds of web shooter combinations he can use, a parachute function and mini-drones.
But once again its the humans that steal the show in the new trailer. Also making appearances are Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark (a.k.a. Iron Man) and Michael Keaton (née Bruce Wayne/Batman) as Spidey’s now-tech-updated archenemy, The Vulture. Disney Channel star Zendaya plays the object of Peter Parker’s affections.
Spider-Man: Homecoming, directed by Jon Wats, hits theaters on July 7.
