Ron Howard Gives World First Glimpse of Donald Glover as Young Lando Calrissian

Director of 'Star Wars' Han Solo spinoff shares photo on Instagram.

Up until now, Donald Glover is probably best known as “Troy” from Community or for his hip-hop alter-ego Childish Gambino. (OK, so he’s also recently appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Martian and buzzing TV series, Atlanta, too.)

But all of that will pale in comparison to his latest role: that of a young Lando Calrissian in the upcoming Star Wars Han Solo spinoff, which recently got its mojo back after two-time Oscar-winner Ron Howard was installed as the film’s new director.

Howard, a self-professed Star Wars fan, recently endeared himself to the sci-fi series’ masses—and made Glover an even bigger star—sharing a small but clear photo on Instagram of Glover as a young Lando Calrissian.
