Disney will allow Star Wars fans to step inside their movie screens and actually trod on the intergalactic worlds that are featured in the über-popular sci-fi franchise. Plus, maybe fight a few battles, too.

Per Disney’s Parks blog, the company has unveiled an intricate 3-D model of the Star Wars–inspired “lands” that it is building from the ground up at California’s Disneyland and the Walt Disney World Resorts. (Flip through the three images below.)

The model is on display exclusively at the Official Disney Fan Club’s D23 convention, which opens today and runs through the 16th.

The finished product sounds like nothing short of a sci-fi geek’s dream vacation, with experiential exhibits that allow guests—along with their favorite Wookiee or princess—to actually take the controls of the Millennium Falcon on a “secret mission,” or be teleported amidst an all-out war between the Resistance and the First Order.

As the blog previously noted, the lands won’t be open until 2019—but there will be quite a bit more Star Wars for fans to chew on before that: Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi is out this Dec. 17, and a Han Solo–related spinoff is in development with Ron Howard at its helm.

Below, take a short tour of the Star Wars lands model.

Last March, Disney also teased some of the other aspects of the lands. Watch a video on it below.
