On March 27, spirits lovers around the world raised a dram for International Whisky Day.
Since one worldwide whisky day isn’t nearly enough, rocks glasses across the globe are going to be hoisted once again in honor of World Whisky Day tomorrow.
To help get you ready to celebrate, we talked to a trio of whiskey experts from Highlands NYC, The Copper Still and The Flatiron Room in New York City about what makes Japanese, Canadian and Scotch whisky, along with American and Irish whiskey, unique as well as awesome.

Summer Sour
2 ounces Smooth Ambler Old Scout American Whiskey
0.75-ounce lemon juice,
Bar spoon of raspberry jam preserve
1 egg white
Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake. Add ice to the shaker and shake again until cold. Fine strain into a chilled coupe.
Lovely Kyoto
Toki Japanese Whisky
Plum tea
Lemon juice
Soda
Lychee garnish
The Tipperary
1.5 oz Powers Irish Whiskey
0.75 oz Sweet Vermouth
0.75 oz Green Chartreuse
2 dashes of orange bitters
Add all ingredients into a mixing glass and fill with ice. Stir until cold. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with orange zest.
