Study Shows That Taking Photos of Your Food Makes the Meal Better

These days, if you don’t whip out your smartphone and post a photo of what you’re eating to Instagram or Facebook, you look out of place. But some people think it’s rude, and certain restaurants have gone as far to bar customers from doing it.

However, as one recent study published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology notes, taking photos of your food actually increases your enjoyment of the overall dining experience. A previous study also noted that picture-taking could even make the food taste better.
