If you’re a whiskey lover who’s lacking in direction after landing your undergraduate degree, Kentucky’s Midway University might just have the world’s most elegant solution. With its MBA in Tourism and Event Management degree program, Midway offers a number of courses in Bourbon history, distillery operations, a special study abroad opportunity (along Scotland’s “malt whiskey trail”), and Bourbon hospitality (something we practice regularly on Friday nights).

Of course, you also have to take a battery of management, marketing, economics, business law, and global business courses, too. (In short, it’s a real degree program.) But it’s highly flexible; you can complete the core coursework either in person or remotely, so if you’re the type of who likes to get into his “research,” you don’t have to show up to class in person.
